Review: 

Omg! I am a sucker for cozy mysteries and this one was no exception! Delilah is kinda a perfectionist when it comes to cooking, and right now her life is almost perfect! She moved back home and she is opening a gourmet pizzeria with her best friend forever. So things are really looking good for her right now, she is even engaged to a sweet man who is underwriting the new pizzeria! Then, the unimaginable happens. Her fiance dumps her and then goes into ghosting mode. Subsequently, she has a murder happen at her restaurant! Not only that her sweet aunt is found holding the murder weapon and cannot recall anything! So she must find out what happened because she wants to clear her aunt's name! 
This cozy mystery gives you everything that a cozy mystery should! A nice setting usually in a hometown, great characters filled with witty and hilarious banter between them, murder, and of course all the different layers that help create the mystery! I definitely enjoyed this one!  So this author is actually a first for me, however, it will definitely not be my last! I loved this and the author did such an amazing job! I loved that she included a plus-size MC because that was the cherry on the top for this book! If you love cozy mysteries and love a multilayer mystery then this should be your next read! Hint MOMs' kids are starting school if they haven't already and you might have a little bit more free time to pick up this cozy mystery! You will not be disappointed! An American profiler and psychologist is called in to help aid when a high profile abduction of Elspeth occurs after a murder of a similiar woman. Along with Detective Baarda she and he follow the abductions of a 12 year old child and of a parapalegic man. Trying to figure out the end game is all they can try to do and the twist and the turns of the case is absolutely horrifying. Fergus abducts them all to try to create the family he never had, not long after his introduction the reader can realize that he is not only physically but also mentally sick. He is so sick and twisted it's not even funny. This book follows the investigation and also gives an insight into Fergus's mind, and what an adventure that was. I definitely recommend this b
