​ Title: The Nurse  Author: Claire Allen  Expected Publication: March 17, 2022 Publisher: Avon Books UK  Genre: Thriller  Pages: 400 pages  Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review:  Omg does this one make you suspicious of anyone and everyone!  Stephen and Marian are a normal couple with normal routines and problems. They have a daughter named Nell, who like most young adults wants to live independently and have their own life. Well, one day Nell’s roommate contacts the parents to touch bases with them to see if they knew where Nell was because she has not been seen for 2-3 days. At first, the parents are like most parents they don’t panic they assume that maybe she is staying somewhere else with new friends or something. However, once the cops start to get involved as time goes on the fear and panic sets into play.  Then you have the alternate POV of an HIM character. Now, this HIM character is really disturbing and his philosophy is just as disturbing if not more sinister. He likes to follow women w

​ Title: Finlay Donovan Knocks’Em Dead  Author: Elle Cosimano  Expected Publication: February 1, 2022  Publisher: Minotaur Books Genre: Mystery/ Thriller  Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pages: 368 pages  Review:  If you loved the first one, then you will love this one even more!  Finlay is still struggling to finish her next novel and trying to keep her mind together trying to save her ex-husband when she finds out that there is a hit on his life. So, Finlay and Vero are trying to keep above the water. Then there is the detective trying to get back into her life. Along with all of this Vero is keeping secrets, and Finlay knows it.  These characters are a HOOT! I love Finlay's inner struggle when she sees the forum where her ex-husband Steven is basically someone is hiring to kill him. While Finlay despises him, she doesn't want her kids to grow up without their dad but also she doesn't want someone to attempt to kill Steven while he has the kids. Cast & Kristin Cast  Expected Publication: April 5, 2022 Publisher: Wednesday Books  Genre: Fantasy/ Young Adult  Pages: 320 pages  Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: I   loved the first one and this one did not disappoint!   Now Mercy and Hunter are kind of at odds with one another at this point, their mother was murdered by a demon in the first book. This book picks up right where the last one ended. Because the girls are at odds with one another they are separated and this pulls more on their relationship than ever before. I love the aspect of this book, I love that the twin sisters are stuck trying to find their own identity that's not influenced or the same as the other twin and that's really neat! I also enjoyed the splash of romance thrown in the mix because it added to the story and while I wasn't specifically rooting for any particular pair to ship together. Now, let's talk about the drama. This is one of those thrillers!  Five years ago the residents of Gerbera were ambushed and murdered in the middle of the night, in their beds. The only survivors of the attack are the 5 children who were able to get away and run to the forest. They are now connected by not only their grief but also the horror of the attack they witnessed.  Now, they are all grown and living on their own except for the youngest and she is living with her sister. Around the anniversary all five receive threatening letters letting the survivors know that they are coming from them. I have been slowly working my way through all of them but when I saw this one was up for request I had to request it! I love the cozy-mysteries genre and this one was swell!  Hannah along with Andrea is helping out at the inn when they have a big fishing contest with tv stars involved. While the whole town is buzzing about the ordeal, one of the TV Stars is flirting with married women and making a scene. Sonny is a womanizer, and even his fiance can't control him and his ways. Suddenly he is found dead on one of the boats and it is up to Hannah to help solve this mystery! So, in the past couple of books, Hannah has kind of been in a daze because of what she went through. However, in this book, she kind of gets back some of her spunk along with her independence. S
