Murder, Movies, and Mayhem—This Wedding Has It All!
My love for cozy mysteries strikes again, and Catherine Mack delivers another absolute gem in this delightful series! I adored the first book, so I couldn’t wait to dive into this next installment—and it did not disappoint.
Eleanor’s debut novel is being turned into a movie, and while she’s thrilled, she’s also a bit uneasy about how much the script is being rewritten. Still, excitement is in the air—especially when her best friend Emma lands the lead role, opposite her teenage crush, Fred Winters. Sparks fly on set, and before long, Emma and Fred are engaged!
The entire cast heads to dreamy Catalina Island for the wedding, but things quickly take a dark turn. Emma begins receiving ominous notes warning that someone is going to die at the wedding. As tensions rise, Eleanor slips into sleuth mode to uncover the truth before the big day turns deadly.
This story is packed with charm, humor, and just the right amount of suspense. The locked-room mystery twist had me hooked, and the witty writing made it impossible to put down. There’s a lot happening, but it’s all woven together so cleverly that you’ll be racing through the pages to see how it all unfolds.
Huge thanks to Minotaur Books and NetGalley for the chance to return to this fun, twisty world. If you love cozy mysteries with heart, humor, and a dash of Hollywood drama, this one’s a must-read!
