Review:

I devoured this book in one sitting! It was amazing and I loved it!

This one started with two cousins: Camille and Avaline. Camille's mother and sibling died in a fire that no one has ever figured out what caused. When both cousins reach the age for the ritual coming-of-age summoning, Avaline knocks it out of the ballpark, but Camille, not so much. She was unsure, and hers did not work out how it was supposed to.

However, Avaline returns to New Orleans with her mother, and Camille stays behind to work on her summoning and healing. It was nice to be introduced to the different witch families and learn about their strengths and the different magics associated with them.

The illustrations are on point and the storyline is engaging overall it was a really great experience! I loved it and I recommend it! However, there is one downfall: volume 2 will not be out until October!!! 😭

Thank you Netgalley and Webcomic for the opportunity to read this one! It is addicting!
