Review:
A story full of mystery, time travel, and beautiful people. From the beginning, I was captivated by the eerie mystery surrounding June. In the beginning, she and her other family member Birdie had recently buried her grandmother, and there is a "family curse" that June carries with her. Her mother had this urban legend following her that she went quite mad and disappeared then she returned pregnant and then disappeared once again. Then one night her baby was brought to her grandmother's house. Her mother was never seen again, then towards the end of her grandmother's life, she required extensive care and her mind was slipping. At that point June had decided that the Farrow line would end with her, she would not bring a child into the world to deal with
"family curse" However soon after the funeral June went to the doctor because she was starting to experience the same symptoms that her grandmother was experiencing. Then one day her world starts spinning when she finds a letter with a picture and an address written on it from her grandmother in the days before her death and when she tries to put all the pieces together she is taken to 1951 back in time. When she arrives there she meets a man that obviously knows her but she has no idea who he is and then her world is put upside down and she doesn't remember anything or know anything about what had happened there.
This book was amazing and I really enjoyed the story! The ending was beautiful!
