Review:

Wow! This was my first masked man romance and it did not disappoint! This is also a first for me by the author and it will not be the last! So Gen is in a bad situation, her father is missing and she saw the landlord posted an eviction notice on the door. Of course, Gen starts to investigate the last days of her father where her father was and what he was doing and it leads her to a club. Once she goes into the club she decides to act like she is interested in working in the club just to see if she can find information. When she comes up short she decides to come in and make an attempt to join the game she heard about the night before knowing what the game is. The idea behind the game is interesting and it was original and fierce. They have 5 females that sign up for the game and then they have 20 males that fight over the women in a battle to "claim" their woman. Then after the game, the couples have to spend the next month together and see if they are compatible. Well, when Arran (who owns the club) finds out she snuck into the game he decides to break his own rules and he joins the game and claims her as his. While they originally started having a rocking start with one another Arran was mad because he had to break his promise to himself and her for joining the game thinking it was all a ploy and she was working with a rival gang. Reminded me kinda of the vibe of mafia romance so it was worth reading! The only bad thing about this is the next two books do not come out until later in the month and next month.
