Wow! What a wild journey! Those twists though are whiplash-worthy!
Rachel Price was last seen on security footage with her then-toddler Bel never to be seen again. Rachel's car was on the side of the road running with the heater on and Bel buckled in the back seat but no sign of Rachel. It's been sixteen years since the disappearance and Bel along with her family are working with a producer to do a documentary about the disappearance of Rachel Price.  Bel is having a hard time with the documentary because there is always speculation about her father. Upset she takes off and on the way home she finds her, she finds Rachel. Thinking she is seeing a ghost she runs home without looking back, and soon there is a knock on the door, and it's Rachel. Rachel is back.  Bel calls her dad and tells him to get home and when he does his face pales the police find out and they eventually make a press release about the reappearance. However, Bel is bothered by her mother she knows she's lying about something. There are inconsistencies in Rachel's story about where she was at those sixteen years and other things that are bothering Bel. Then, her father disappears and she starts investigating Rachel she knows something is not right. Once she has that thread she pulls it until family secrets start slowly coming out and once they do there is no turning back! Wow! This one had me hooked until the very end! It was soo good! Holly outdid herself writing this one! I loved it! Thank you Netgalley and Random House Publishing for the extraordinaire opportunity to read and review this one! It was a wild treat!
