Review:
So I was given the extraordinary opportunity to listen to this audiobook and it was very very intriguing. The audiobook was just amazing because I enjoyed the different perspectives and the book is written in interviews, snippets of the book Evelyn was writing to get basically down to the bottom line of what happened to Zoe.
Zoe was a college student, while on the outside it seemed as if she was thriving and doing well in her work she actually had a secret life.
At the time of her disappearance, Zoe walked onto the roof of her place where she was residing with other college students. That was the last that anyone ever heard of saw of Zoe, while the police back then were trying to piece everything together they never discovered what happened to her.
Now & years later Evelyn is trying to piece everything together to see if she can find out what happened to her. She interviews all of her friends and her twin sister along with different people that were involved in the case at one point or another. As Evelyn is piecing everything together she is emailing and conversing with Joseph Knox getting feedback and basically being a soundboard for her ideas to come together.
This was a very different case and I loved how everything was put together along with the way the book was written with the different interviews, chapters of Evelyns book, and the emails. That was different and really caught my eye and thoughts.
If you love true crime or if you love a great mystery then this should be your next read because this book is written like a puzzle and all their pieces are coming together slowly as you are working through the book!
Thank you NetGalley and RB Media/Recorded Books for the opportunity to listen and review this one! This was definitely a treat!
