Review: 

I've always had a healthy curiosity for the paranormal, and this book was amazing! I loved that the paranormal history was mixed between historical information and paranormal information. There was also information there that helped you plan a trip if you wanted to visit these locations, which was kind of nice. While there were a few well-known spots that even ghost shows have covered, I did notice that he managed to include some spots that I previously did not know about and that was really neat! I think my favorite spot that it talked about was The Magnolia Hotel. Living in Texas is one of the locations that has been talked about and I've known of several people that have had experiences and I think it's just fascinating!

This is a cute quick read and I loved it and binged it in one night!

Marissa had a fling and she wanted to tell her husband in a controlled environment, where she and he could work out their differences and heal their marriage. Avery is just the unorthodox therapist to do this, see she only takes clients that she can help in 10 visits because she has a system that works. An American profiler and psychologist is called in to help aid when a high profile abduction of Elspeth occurs after a murder of a similiar woman. Along with Detective Baarda she and he follow the abductions of a 12 year old child and of a parapalegic man. Trying to figure out the end game is all they can try to do and the twist and the turns of the case is absolutely horrifying. Fergus abducts them all to try to create the family he never had, not long after his introduction the reader can realize that he is not only physically but also mentally sick. He is so sick and twisted it's not even funny. This book follows the investigation and also gives an insight into Fergus's mind, and what an adventure that was. I definitely recommend this b
