Review:

This book should probably come with trigger warnings or something but it's so freaking twisted like John Marrs kind of twisted and I enjoyed it completely.
Let's start at the beginning. At 16 Geo is completely and utterly smitten with an older boy, you know the type bad boy galore! She started acting different, spending time with friends less and even enjoying a little bit of risky behavior. Then one night after a high school party Geo and her friend Angela go to her bad boy boyfriend, Calvins apartment and after that night everything changes. Angela is forever considered missing or a runaway, until many years later when her remains are found.
Years later when Geo is a high executive position at pharmicuticals company, Geo is arrested for the murder of Angela when her body was found. Geo decides to take a plea deal and testifies against Calvin and in return she receives 5 years in prison. There she makes connections and a couple friends and makes it manageable until her release. Going back to her childhood home Geo is not met with a welcoming, people are actually angry and uncomfortable with her being there. Especially with murders happening once again and this time with children involved. Who is murdering these women and children then placing them in the woods where Angela's body was found?
OMG this book was hard to put down, I enjoyed this book but the twist and the turns that this book took was surprising and hooking. In the past week I've read this book and other book by this author and I will definitely check out more books by this author. She is very talented and pushes the limits of what most people would consider nightmares but that is what makes her books so good.
